On my tablet I got netflix, the chromecast app as well. They should have a remote control app that you can use your tablet as a remote for your TV which should be standard on Samsung devices.

This is not a bad little tablet. I still prefer apple products but im pleased with this.
Since I hate using more than one screen I downloaded a launcher and redesigned my lock and home screen to my liking. Everything I use on a daily basis is on my homescreen. No uselesse widgets or extra screens. If I need a specfic app I press the home button to take me to my apps.
I used mycolorscreen tutorials.
