I was suppose to see this next week but they had a special screening at the last minute so I was bump it. Plot is pretty simple. Clooney is on his last mission as astronaut. Bullock is rookie. As you saw in the preview they get hit by some debris and the crew is wiped out. And it's just her and Clooney.

3D: Got 3D glasses and took them off after 20 minutes. One of the biggest waste of 3D in a movie. Glad I didn't pay for it or I would be mad. It wasn't even blurry without the glasses. So bottom line if you see this don't waste your money on 3D.

Visualy/Cinematography. Dope, dope, dope. When they're floating in space, you feel like you're there. Visual of the earth, rocket ship debris. Different camera angles. In that sense you won't be dissapointed.

Main stars:
Clooney-I like Clooney. Just like to hear him talk (pause). Love his dialogue in this film as the og, experienced vet who was in control. Just an excellent job by him.

Bullock-Not a fan, never been a fan. Her screaming and panicking, is understandable of course given the circumstances. But that doesn't excuse her from being annoying at times. This movie is really about her. So if you can't take this chick for an 1 1/2 then stay at home. Now, for those who find her attractive, she's shown a number of times in some biker type shorts and tight tank top. She ain't my cup of tea but I'm sure some of yall attracted to her.

Main problem with this film:

Major
Clooney dies in the midway through the film. So it turns into a superwoman type of film. The film was good with the dialogue with Clooney. But once he dies, it's basically her in survival mode. Those who seen "After Earth" it's similar in the sense that it's not about Clooney. But turns into a her film. And again, if she ain't your cup of tea, maybe you can just the beauty of earth, how it's filmed, etc.

Ending-Pretty simple. And unexpected. I was shocked it ended that soon. For those that want to know
She finds some type of shuttle. It lands in the water. She takes off her space suit. Swims out the water with her shorts. Lands on the beach. Says thank you (I assume to God). Then it ends.

Bottom line visually it's stunning. Camera angles are dope. Clooney kills it. But bottom line just like "After Earth" ain't a Will Smith movie. This is not a Clooney movie. It's really a Bullock film just like After Earth was a Jaden film. And just like Jaden she spends a lot time panicking, crying, barely escaping, She's just not my cup of tea but if you're a Bullock fan, you'll probably love her in this. But to me, I just enjoyed the visuals and Clooney.

If this film was just about Clooney and his last mission. Could have been an Oscar contender.

Got a question (spoiler) (do not click)

how does George clooney die?
So it's some type of space station. That's not the technical term but we'll go with it. It's only room for one person. She's almost out of air. They're sorta hooked up together by a harness. So this simp niguh let's her get in there. And this niguh just floats away. And is assumed dead

They try to push her sex appeal (if you find her attractive, not me) throughout the film.

correction. These idiots sent an email today saying that they showed us the 2D version instead of the 3D version. So I take back what I said about the 3D. I have no idea how it is.
