My dad was never around when I was growing up to begin with, so we're like complete strangers. It's been a year since I last saw him. I found out that he's now homeless and has memory loss problems, maybe dementia. He's lost a lot of weight, no job and wanders around the city :damn:He still has a car and sleeps where he can at peoples houses. I'm sorta conflicted right. Not sure if I should try to take him in and help get him work or what...:wow: I don't know...

Any advice? What would you guys do if you were in this situation?

That's your dad man.....with out him there would be no you :stopitslime:

Help that man out.....if you don't feel comfortable having him in your house, get him an apartment or something. Step the hell up man :martin: if he didn't have all those health issues I would tell you to throw some money at him and keep it moving. But that man needs you to be he's son....I don't know your history with him but you never turn your back on your parents. (Unless they did sexual things to you......if that's the case fukk them:sas2:)

Help your dad man......do the right thing :wtb:

Its still your dad, I dont blame you if you did nothing. I wouldn't think twice about not doing anything (unless he came to me asking for help then maybe) but the fact that it bothers your conscious at all means you should at least look into it. He might screw you over for the second time or you might change his life and he yours.

That isn't your dad. A dad actually sticks around to help raise their offspring. Chuck up the dueces to him like he did to you.

Yeah, I feel this way. People don't understand that he pretty much vanished. He's a complete stranger to me and I'm only 22 and he's in his 50's so it's a lot of weight on my shoulders.

I feel as if something happens to him in the streets it'll be my fault tho.
