So Cal
On the way to work. It's raining. :mjcry: I'm driving doing like 75, it's raining but not like super hard. The freeway goes into 2 lanes, both empty and some dude gets over in front of me (fast lane, going like 50) for seemingly no reason.

so i speed up and get ready to go around him and that's where it all goes bad. :snoop:

Soon as i get over i lose control of the car. I'm all over these two lanes, swerving left, swerving right, tryna get the car under the control. I came close to hitting the wall and at that point i was on the bridge, I'm thinking:sadcam: this might be it. After swerving side to side for what felt like an eternity, i was finally able to get the car straight, still couldn't really control it, realized it had been knocked into manual position, i put it in drive and was finally able to get it under control. I just drove to work like ain't shyt happened.:yeshrug:

:wow:me and the car got away unscathed. :damn: i fukkin did that shyt! :wow: Top 5 recovery. Wish i had a dash cam.

shyt got me fukked up though, I'm still sleeping a little. :mjcry:

You don't accelerate on rain while turning a wheel you sad bum.

When dude got in the fast lane u shoulda eased up on the gas put some distance between you two and gracefully turned.

Instead? You got emotional and gunned it :skip:on an oil slicked freeway that's been rained on. Hopefully you've learned how to drive now and will avoid becoming another tragic clown

It was distance between us, it's why i ain't hit him when i lost control. It wasn't an emotional jerk reaction neither. I ain't get over right when he got over, he prolly was like 200 yards in front when he got over, when i was getting ready to go around he was like 65 yards ahead. This my first time having some shyt like this happen though, my driving record is impeccable.:wow:

But yeah, i learned my lesson.:to:

O I see so the real problem is you're putting used tires on your car car.

I don't see how this is happening with quality tires.

Next time don't be cheap on the Michelins so we can avoid that clown car action

Naw i just think it was a lot of water and that's why he got over. My car don't even got 9k miles on it, tires are straight. The tire type might have more to do with it.

Another idiot going 65+ in the rain who gets perplexed when things go wrong. Let me guess, you live in SoCal, too?

I drive 75 in the rain too op, whatever the speed limit is unless it's something crazy, that's what I drive. People doing 55 mph in a 75 speed limit because it's raining. Not snow, but rain:pachaha:

Race car drivers drive fast in the rain, 100mph+ all the time. You can't drive 65mph on straight roads with good tires? If you feel your car slipping or see crazy puddles then slow down. I've drove 75+ in the rain numerous times and was just fine. Switching lanes I slow down. I'd rather do the posted speed limit than do 25 under.

Maybe you shouldn't be jumping in the left lane doing 50mph in a 75 mph speed limit. With no hazards:why: Who's really the dikkhead?

:comeon:Dummy, when it starts raining they switch to wet tyres thats why.

When it starts raining it's best to slow down & you better have quality tyres. Never cheap out on quality tyres. There is a huge difference in the smoothness, handling of the ride, noise, safety & fuel consumption between the quality of tyres.
