Just spent the last few weeks rewatching Avatar The Last Airbender

- Azula is a psychotic bytch, but I love watching her fight
- Toph is a boss and a half ... this girl INVENTED a new style of bending
- @ Aang just running straight into the statue in the opening credits, it ALWAYS gets me
- Seeing the original blood bending episode made the revelation of Tarrlok being a blood bender in Korra that much more
- Zuko took a LOT of Ls
- Koh the Face Stealer =

Avatar was a great introduction to kids on the animation style of the East without being flat out blatant 4Kids style anime....

what, with huge epic overreaching arcs and more mature themes that simply did it's best to tell an intricate and detailed story....

instead of the american style 13-26 monster-of-the-week episodes a season designed to sell toys and make them dumb bigoted warmongers.... with a "The More You KNow/Knowing is Half the Battle" afterschool special message thrown in there.
