Because this is a huge claim

Not for me,although at Season 5 it becomes a bit more "Power'ish". Probably to appease the casual viewers who caught on late,plus Jon Singleton is dead by then. But earlier seasons become better when you see the entire thing,and realize the foreshadowing that was happening. If anything in those earlier seasons you can skip through some of the mexican cartel stuff,and some of Reeds story with his wife. Personally I say binge the whole thing. Snowfall better than the Wire for me

Im on season 3...
the show is good but nowhere near the level of The Wire.

Its Power with better actors and writers.

But compared to The Wire the writing is flat and the charecters are 2 dimensional...
theres good guys and there's bad guys.

I hate when people compare this to the Wire.
Snowfall is a good show. The Wire is on par with Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Etc. for best television shows ever.
