Two different styles of comedy.
If you like pure joy and sillyness, then yes this is better than Community.
As someone who likes a wide variety of TV and comedy (including both Community and Happy Endings), I much prefer H.E. You can rewatch H.E. every couple of years and just laugh. I watched the entire run of Community and loved it but I've never had the urge to watch it ever again.

From what I’ve seen of community, this is faster and more layered because it’s mostly dialogue jokes and sight gags and call backs. It’s just dialogue on top of dialogue on top of more dialogue and it comes fast
That's a tough one man. All depends on your sense of humor. Happy Endings is more in your face with the jokes.
