Loved it since I saw it in 10th grade in May 2002, Adrien Lyne is has at least 3 classics, this included. Such a dark, nuanced look at fidelity, betrayal, lust, sex, suburban "american dream", morals, with beautiful direction and amazing acting. The French guy is laying it on a little thick, now that I am 31, it was a little much lol

*The scene where she cleans herself on the train home while crying and late is so powerful.
