Nope. Threw that part of the story right in the trash.
didn't even reference time travel. After superman was supposed die because of the blast radius, its basically over except for a single scene.
I was curious how they would do that whole thing. And knowing it's been cut makes me not care. Of all the conessions to take, why remove that
I mean... i was 15 when the justice league cartoon first premiered in 2001, so perhaps it's nostalgia or how Dwayne McDuffie and Bruce Timm made the DCAU feel less corporate and bigger than just "Batman and Bat Family"... but most of these "new 52" movies just annoy me for some reason. Idk if it's the wooden acting or seeming a bit souless despite the ramped up blood and violence.
Or maybe it's because Stewart was such a big deal in the JLU toons whereas in these shyts he's regulated to diversity quota cameos at best.

The story was way too big to be properly fit into 1 hour 20 minutes. And the movie suffered plot wise because of it. They kept key elements, but seeing the movie you'd understand why it was cut.
