Why people acting like Kanye can't have an opinion and not like Suit and Tie? And he didn't say it to the media or a interview, he said it at a concert overseas. You know how much shyt artists say to their audience during shows that never gets out to the public. I remember I went to a Young Buck concert back when he was in G Unit and he was saying T.I. could suck his dikk and other reckless shyt. Nobody ever found out though.

doesn't seem like people saying kayne can't have an opinion, it seems like more people are surprised that justin said something back, like you can't have an opinion on his opinion or something...

personally i just like to see that nikka act like a gay fish, his temper tantrums crack me up

What people are saying and what UR not getting is that ur initial statement is wrong...Timbaland didnt blow JT up...im sorry to break it to u...Timbaland was actually of very little assistance on the first album...tell u the truth if ur gonna give anyone credit it would be the Neptunes....cause they started with Justin since he was still with NSync...even gave NSync one of their last hits...majority of the songs and singles from his album were produced by the Neptunes...so this idea that Justin wouldnt have blew up without "throwaway" Timbaland beats is false...tell u the truth..there was many factors in why Cry Me A River was so big when it dropped...it wasnt just cause of the beat...it was his video and the contreversy with Brittney Spears...and the fact that it was a so called fake Brittney in the video and the song was supposedly about their break up...so u just talkin to talk right about now honestly...which is why I gave u the :what: face....

And the reason Timbo had so much play on the second album was because the Neptunes were pissed with Jive because of the Clipse situation and wouldn't let their beats be used.

Some of them went to Robin Thicke.

I'm pretty sure you didn't understand what I wrote anyway because it wasn't some racist filled pseudo white pride disguised as actual self loathing. But I am convinced that most of your posts are just troll posts because you don't have the intellectual capacity to construct a suitable rebuttal to anybody's post. More than likely you come from an environment where you didn't have to fight for anything, but have always felt that something was being taken away from you, so your posts don't come from strong mindset, you're always taking a defensive approach with your replies. You feel its best to deflect from the fact that your best argument is usually your first response and then after that you have nothing else because you've emptied your clip on the first go around so to speak.

Like I said before, when someone has something critical to say about someone white, the white sheets and burning crosses come out in full display. But were are just having fun out here on the nets.
Don't question anyone else's intellectual capacity then type a run-on sentence man. You're trying waaay too hard in this post. I understood the things that wrote clearly. You didn't say anything critical about a white man, you ripped apart a black man basically shytting on his character and him as a person. I have to laugh at you internet haters and the amount of venom that you have for these entertainers/athletes. I seriously can't tell if you haters actually believe your own BS or you say shyt just for the attention. Either way you're pathetic. Drop that bytchass self righteous high-horse sitting crab in the barrel mentality that you have because it just makes you look like a sucker.

Suit & Tie sounds like a Robin Thicke wanna be record and Jay-Z flabby n sick verse makes it even worth.

Kanye needs to stfu and let his music speak for itself. Drop a better album than JT and keep it moving.

It looks like when it comes to being a dikkryding fakkit Jay-Z just can't help himself. Its embarassing to see him latch on to JT like this.

- KANYE WEST IN XXL MAGAZINE, OCTOBER 2007

My biggest inspiration and biggest competition is Justin Timberlake. He’s the only other person that gets an across-the-board response and respect level — black radio, white radio. If Justin hadn’t come out and killed the game, I can’t say that my album, singles and videos would be on the same level that they’re on. We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day.

:heh: So why don't you see it as Timberlake latching on to Jay Z? It's a song for his album isn't it? Better yet, why look at it as a case of either one of them latching on to the other? You people are so miserable.

looking at these entertainers in part as businesses in human form helps to give understanding to their motives and decisions.

JT wants to be accepted by blacks so he can be better accepted by his fans who also want to be accepted by blacks. Jay Z presents a level of "blackness" with the right amount of acceptable edge that can be handled by a wider audience (which is really consumers of the "Jay Z" product), so he trades that off to JT for continued and greater exposure to a non-black fan base

:ohhh: So basically you're saying that the collaboration is beneficial to both artists? Listening to these other posters this seems to be a case of Timberlake doing poor Jay Z some kind of favor.

Sarcasm aside. While I agree with your overall point that this is a collaboration that makes business sense for both sides, I don't with all the "blackness" stuff. JT is already accepted by the blacks who spend the most money buying music, black women. He didn't need Jay Z for that. Suit & Tie isn't really a hiphop sounding record, Jay Z gives him those hiphop radio spins. People like to talk about how this makes business sense, but it also makes sense when you look at the circles these guys run in. Timberlake has already worked with Beyonce, and his producer(Timbaland) is real cool with Jay. Is it possible that these guys have become cool over the years and decided to work together because they wanted AND it made business sense?
