Ka vs. Mach Hommy: The Showdown

Ka pulls from way deeper(no liberace) and takes more of an effort to grasp imo. Mach has clever non sequitur type rhymes and his lineage adds depth to his pen but La in my humble opinion is a soul searching poet that happens to rap.

I also love that KA is entirely self contained. He produces for himself, directs his own videos, etc.

There aren’t a lot of artists these days that can do it all, and that adds another layer to my appreciation.

Musically I’ll take Mach, lyrically obviously you take Ka. Ka is damn near more spoken word than actual music. It’s something you can’t compare tbh

Ka has definitely made more music that I deeply enjoy but I'll readily admit Mach is the better rapper and is wittier. I think Ka is the better writer, which is different to me. For instance Common is more introspective and poetic than Jay but Jay is wittier and the better rapper.
