Colin Kaepernick has been fined $11,025 for saying something he claims he didn't say. The49ers quarterback received a letter from the league on Wednesday saying that he's been fined for using 'inappropriate language' against the Bears.
Kaepernick plans to appeal the fine though because he claims he didn't say whatever the NFL thinks he said. "I didn't say anything," Kaepernick said. "Lamarr Houston said I didn't say anything. We're going to leave it at that."
Should Kaepernick have been fined? You can judge for yourself below. The CBS affiliate in San Francisco has video of Kaepernick's comments. I'm not a lip reader, but it looks like he's saying, "Back the F--- up."
The league promised to have 'zero tolerance for obscene and abusive language' in 2014.
