Kap just needs to retire and not play. He's made millions of Dollars, his impact is an activist and not a football player.

Its obvious he doesn't care about his Job as a football player because if he did he would try and play the game and give off the "perception" he is conforming, even if he isn't in his personal life.

While Michael Vick was wrong giving his opinion on Kap in that manner, the statement he made does have a point. Right now, Kap is an unemployed Football player. When someone is unemployed and looking for work, the natural thing we all do is apply at companies we want to work for and go through the interview process. There is a level of conforming we all take part in to get "hired". You're probably going to wear a suite and tie, cut or comb your hair, and try to present the very best of yourself, even if that doesn't reflect who you really are. Kap refuses to play this game and thats ok.

But don't be surprised if you show yup to a Job interview in Jeans and T-shirt and don't get hired regardless of your past experience. Optics do matter. Its all a game of social fronts. If Kap Really cared about his Job as a football player he would at least try to play this game.

Kap is not willing to compromise on his beliefs for a paycheck and thats fine. But dont be shocked if there are consequences in doing so.

So "to play the game" would it be cool if Colin showed up for an INTERVIEW in a ponytail like Clay and others? Or maybe Dreadlock his hair up?

Its funny how no one says that about the guys in the league that are ultra Christians and in the offseason go to other countries for weeks to build schools and shyt and during the season every week frequent churches or places with people in need. Like they aint 100% focused on football doing all that right? But no one shyts on them? Why?

What's happening is fukked up but doesn't it defeat the purpose of the protest for Kaep to now try and get signed? He took a hard stance, there's nothing wrong with that and it was honorable to do it, but once you cross that line you can't half ass it, you gotta stand your ground. Unfortunately now, even if he does sign somewhere, he looks weak. If he doesn't he looks weak too. He has every right to protest, but his employer has every right to separate themselves from him if they decide that's not the image they want to support, talented or not. Again it's fukked up but it is what it is. I agree with others who are saying he needs to just accept that he can't really fukk with the NFL anymore, he needs to focus on activism, that's the lane he chose after all. The only thing that would stagger the NFL is if the majority of the players take a stand and refuse to play to send a message, but unfortunately that looks like a pipe dream.
