Cap, multiple things caused massive inflation. Major component was collusion in the retail sector that just gets ignored by folks throwing out talking points because they trying to speak to their base instead of being objective. Why yall think these lobbying groups want Linda Kahn up out the paint. Retailers turned massive profits by gouging then claimed retail theft was causing them to raise prices, meanwhile behind the scenes companies trying to merge so there is less competition and allows for illegal price fixing

It’s a fact that Trump started inflation with the covid response spending but it’s an irrelevant fact because it was the right thing to do. We shut our economy down, money had to be spent to keep things afloat. Biden continued this in 2021 with his own covid response bill, that included the child tax credit.
Inflation has nearly ended though. What we’re seeing now is a mixture of price increases due to workers getting paid more, corporate greed increasing prices, and the cost of shipping goods increasing.

Inflation is way too complex to blame it on one stimulus check. Supply chain shocks are most likely the biggest factor. Breakfast Club isn’t well verse enough to check him on that.

himself cannot cause inflation. Inflation was caused by creating trillions of stimulus dollars out of nothing during pandemic combined with supply chain issues. This occurred under trump. There were simply too many dollars competing with one another over too few goods. The idea that a president can cause inflation is pure
