What? You don't like the track around the football field look? :birdman:

Me either. I can't take your program serious if you got a damn track around your field

Yeah that look should have been left in the 90s. A decent track facility is not that expensive to build. Yall need to eiher renovate the place like tcu did or start from scratch and build something modest but with a modern look. The single bowl look is outdated.

Yea but that Adidas money is looooooong and filling the coffers of the program substantially. As long as they don't try to force them Wild unis on the bball team like last year. Unis were truly :scusthov:

Yeah that's the only reason we're sticking with them cause they cover pretty much everything.

Give Weis some time though breh..Heaps, Mccay & Hartwell will be decent this year.

Breh, it's Kansas. They'd have a MUCH easier time building a new bball arena than a football stadium.

Their last good year in football was like 07 when they went to the Orange Bowl. If they coulda stringed together 1-2 more good years, then they could probably get stadium funding no questions asked.

No, Oregon ruined it. For years every team had their traditional home and away jersey maybe even an alternate, nothing was wrong with that format. Then here comes Oregon with their change clothes philosophy putting feathers on everything, and everybody is fascinated, doesn't matter that half those unis were trash it was just the fact they got to switch up so much. Now every team is selling out for swag.

That throwback and matte helmet is hitting, though.:ohhh:

It was bound to happen. Sports are all about fashion. People buy Jordans to wear as fashion. People have been buying jerseys to wear as fashion for years. Baseball caps, people wear them as fashion.

I just look at it as Oregon doing what nobody else thought about doing. In the sense that Oklahoma says, "ok, our school colors are crimson & cream.....so we're gonna wear 1 white jersey, and 1 red jersey,1 helmet"

Sometimes that itsef becomes a fashion statement. Alabama's number helmets are a fashion unto themselves.

But EVERY school makes changes to their uni's, even if you dont notice. OU jerseys from 2012 look different from the way they did in 2002, even if it's just a font change

actually, ppl say that.....but this is what cfb/college sports has ALWAYS been about. Back in the day, kids wanted to go to certain schools b/c they wanted to wear the gold helmets(notre dame), they wanted to wear the powder blue unis(UNC), on down the line. And even the hardcore tradition first teams like Alabama, Oklahoma, etc add a bunch of accessories these days.

It's just that now teams are using that appeal to their advantage

:rudy: Neither Bama nor OU have changed their shyt up like that.

Exactly, Bama changed their uniforms last year but kept the same concept. I'm all for switching it up in the college game.
