Ye is literally a living legend having to resort to these tactics to promote an album. He is a household name that should just be able to say Feb 11th.

We (Generally speaking.. The Fans as a whole) care more about social media and who is relevant (based off buzzfed and followers) that we miss the overall point.



The point being, the music. I hope he does more than 20K because we need Kanye. If Kanye takes an L, hip hop takes an L.

Last year so many great projects fell under the radar from Lupe's album to Wale's album. The only reason Kendrick and J.Cole are getting their respect is because they have the benifit of the machine. Please believe once Interscope is done with Kendrick he'll be doing Lupe numbers. 10 years ago 50 & Game were Kendrick. 10 years before Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, & Eminem etc etc etc etc Once your 2-3 album run is done it's onto the next subject that has the momentum.


It's sad watching Adele just give a release date and drop a single but I have to watch microwaved drama surround urban acts just to get their art out
