I can't speak for everyone but I personally can't find anything about this cat I relate to anymore, marrying a Kardashian, fashion, all the nonsense...he comes off as a try hard to me.

Kanye new music is just kinda garbage to me :manny:

Not because it's too 'progressive' or anything (first thing the stans say is that you don't get it man :sadbron:). It's cause all his shyt since 2008 is a mess. He just takes bits and pieces from all these other musicians and slams them together like a shyt sandwich :scust:

You listen to Yeezus a couple and once you get past how intense it is you realize that shyt is disorganized, isn't put together cohesive

Realized that first track in.

Was really disappointed he didn't do more with Strange Fruit. How you gonna take such an iconic and defining title and song concept and put it on garbage?

White people only buy rap music once the rap artist is popular or "mainstream".

They don't hang out. Kanye used to wish they would though. They didn't even go to his wedding. They (probably mostly beyonce) do not want to be associated with Kim and Kanye while he's acting crazy. If they were hanging out, we would all see pictures of it. Kim would never miss the chance to get pics of her and beyonce hanging out.
Ive seen a few...at concerts and award shows

Yeezus was polarizing. It was edgy. It was an experience. You either Loved it or Hated it. Ye's new music is too middle of the road. No direction. No personality. No controversy.

The media tactics he uses during the buildup of his album releases go unnoticed. The Taylor Swift incident, Katrina, Paparazzi Fights, Illuminati propoganda, & Public Breakups.

Kanye is a legend in the game with nothing else to prove. he's clearly more subdued than ever before. Gone are the days of the media flare ups & Hennessy on the red carpet. This time around its all about the music and frankly, it's just not good enough.

Damn...very insightful brah. You got

College Dropout came out 11 years ago. 11 years is a shytload of time for a musician, barely any musician will be able to keep up the amount of popularity they had in their first 5 to 10 years, especially in the sense of popular singles. Outside of a few heavy weights like Michael Jackson, Madonna and some country artists the majority fo legendary musicians did most of their work in the first 10 years of their career, chartwise. Even Jay-Z who has probably had the most success for the longest period of time, as a rapper, still can't domionate the singles charts the way he could in the late 90s and early 00s.

Edit: For comparisons sake, American Gangster was Jay's 11th year album and the highest charting record on it was Blue Magic which hit 55 on the Billboard hot 100 chart. All Day peaked at 15 on the same chart. At the same point in their career artists like Elton John and Paul McCartney were also in a slump. An unsuccessful single at this point in a career isn't good, but it isn't a huge sign of a disaster for the performers career.

Yeah Yeezus hurt Kanye, he lost some fans with that, I think he can recover depending on what he does but that did some damage, personally I've felt he's declined a long time ago though.

On the low rap has pass him by... He just doesn't have a feel for what's hot now or what's next.

For all the praise Ye got for the sound of WTT.. Jay knows how to make rap that is current

I disagree about the Kardashian but can't ignore it

your mother
There was a thread on here recently stating that " All day " was a flop as far as being a song that dominates the clubs and mainstream hiphp and that was 100% correct

When you have a big ass radio promo tour hyping an album and no songs are leak for real and you produce something as bad and off putting to the public as Yeezus it's hard to garner the same public interest next time around

He may never recover from Yeezus

his music flops these days because its :trash: kanye lost his thirst and his soul a long time ago :scust:

although he smashing kim k so u cant hate .. :shaq:
