Kanye West is the only musician that can actually surprise me

fukk all your critiques of Kanye West... its true hes kind of a piece of shyt but hes a top notch artist.

I mean were talking about an era where being a musician, if you really think about it, mostly consists of blending a few different genres in a way that is very logical. There are very few musicians who deviate from that.

Im not saying Kanye West is the greatest musician, but hes the only one that I cant pin down. And Im talking all music, not just hip hop.


So... everyone just shut the fukk up and appreciate the fact that we have an artist that still wants to push boundaries. Because I cant think of any others

even if his message is hypocritical and self serving (which it might be), even if his album ends up being trash, at least hes trying to do something different.

No Im saying that up until now he has been an outstanding musician, but even if he fails in the future, at least hes trying to push boundaries.

There arent really any other artists trying to do that right now

I kinda agree, All these rappers claim they "going in a different direction musically" or try to step out of their comfort zone by doing a unique collab but most end up basically saying the same shyt on there records.

I don't get caught up in the cult of personality with these entertainers so I personally could care less what Kanye does when he isn't making music.. But I do know each of his projects have a different feel from the last one so I can appreciate that...
