kanye west - late registration appreciation thread

i had to make a thread for this album as i listen to it right now
this album is definitely a classic as we all know but man, this album only gets better with time
ye really put his music with this one and it was a great look for him to work with jon brion
the music is such rich and colorful on this album
ye stepped it all the way up from college dropout to late registration with the writin', rhymes, and production
the guest appearances were somethin' else too; from nas to paul wall


i've gone back and forth with a lot of his 1st few albums as to which is the best but this album is ye's magnum opus and now my favorite the more i go back and listen to it

This was my fav Kanye cd til Yeezus. This is his best album lyrically( they say lupe wrote it but I need receipts) from beginning to end it's flawless.

Classic record. ONe of the few times were a true great, really tried to make a masterpiece. Just a masterpiece. It's the peak of Ye's soul sound. After that - there's nowhere else to go on that tip. He completed Kanye the rapper vol 1 with that album.

I think his latter albums put him in another echelon personally. But this is the one where I realised Ye was here to stay.
