You have a deeper perspective than others... I am new to Arthur but ye Ye is into art but he kinda skims across it. He prob told duke...use this from this piece and that, not really thinking about how this diminishes the artist's own work. Kanye prob treating his work like an Anita Baker sample Which isn't very creative but also can be weirdly genius. I get your point though!

Nah tbf a lot of jafa's and kanye's recent work is about how repurposing imagery and sampling yourself can activate different messages so i get what they were both trying to do. It just didn't work for me this time. Just looked a bit sloppy.


I will say though repurposing the footage of the coronavirus patients struggling to breathe in reflection to the blm movement was high level tho
