This was a kinda shallow film but it was breezy and the fights were well done. You could do a lot worse. Like Karate Kid 94.

Just watched.. movie could’ve benefited from a few more minutes but I appreciate the Cobra Kai connection and they pretty much retconned the Jaden Smith movie into a sequel as quickly as they could

It's interesting how this sequel and all the other ones, haven't been able to capture the heart, and excitement of the OG 1984 movie.

it was a popcorn type of flick i enjoyed for what it was but it could have done a better job acclimating in the karate kid universe

I just watched this digitally. I was planning on watching it in theaters, but the reviews made me not go... and that was the right decision.

This movie was mid (5/10). The plot was generic, the pacing was very quick, the acting was mediocre, the soundtrack was trash, and the fight scenes were just OK. The girl playing Li's girlfriend is cute, and I liked Johnny's cameo at the end.

You can turn on a random episode of Cobra Kai, and it'll be WAY better than this movie lol.

I’m still surprised they picked some forgettable looking dude to be the star. They must not like making money. If he ain’t marketable don’t fukking do it. If he looks the part but not that talented use a got damn stunt double.
