OK forgive me if this is not correct forum but this one is strange. Carla DiBello - who is connected to the Kardashians - is living in Saudi Arabia brokering a deal for the Saudi PIF (Public Investment Fund - $320Billion) to buy football team Newcastle United.
The strange thing is she is in on the deal with no real apparent financial expertise but has worked a way into these meetings with her mentor Yasir al-Rumayyan who is responsible for investing the massive funds in non oil ventures to prepare Saudi Arabia for a post oil future
.
See the articles.
How Kim K's pal pitched Newcastle takeover to Saudi billionaire Bin Salman
Who is Carla DiBello? The businesswoman bizarrely linked to NUFC takeover
Kardashian friend advising Saudis on Newcastle United deal
The guy running the fund - Yasir al-Rumayyan - is apparently not exactly tearing it up with the returns from the massive PIF fund. (I believe they are invested in Uber (currently still losing money) and weren't they invested in Softbank with that We Work fiasco?)
I don't understand how she got so much power but apparently she lives over there in Saudi Arabia - again a woman in Saudi Arabia cutting deals?
Has anyone else heard anything about this?
Does she got it like that?
She fine though....

Or will she fukk up and end up like then jokers that Muhammed Bin Salman held prisoner over in that Saudi Hotel when he claimed that they were ripping off the Saudi Govt without providing any real value?
