I actually like Kasich.
He's not a crazy like seemingly everybody else in the Republican Party. And he actually has a record of succssful governance to run on.
If the repubs backed him I think he'd have a real shot at winning.
But they are too busy being racist crazies to realize it.
Ain't no way trump or Carson gonna win, and if they throw all the quality candidates in the bushes to prop those two clowns up, then they are throwing the entire campaign in the bushes.
Not that I'm complaining though. Any party that would consider those two serious candidates probably doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the White House.

i guess their plan is to make this real right winger look down right liberal by comparison to the crazy show.
Kasich sucks but he is able to put forth this image that he is not some strident wingnut like the rest of the GOP field.
And if by some stretch of the imagination he were to actually get the nomination he would be one of the few Presidential candidates to not win his own home state because Ohioans hate him. He is anti-teachers, anti-union, he is just as ridiculous about the whole Planned Parenthood thing and has a crazy bug up his ass about abortion rights that would make Mike Huckabee beam with pride.
And I still think he was up to some fishy shyt in the realm of black voter suppression after 2012.

Kasich seems to hint at the basic problem with the conservative movement in America, it's not really about conserving anything. It's become a vehicle for neoconservative and libertarian principles that aren't about maintaining American institutions so much as changing them in their preferred direction. We're all liberals in less words.

Ive missed a lot of him being in office, spent 9 years down south. Since ive moved back to Ohio to me he is a typical Republican Governor. School systems in Ohio are bad due to cuts. He cut 78 million out of education. He is against raising minimum wage. He fought and got early voting cut here in Ohio. You use to be able to go register and vote all in one shot. As far as the economy im in Columbus its ok. Columbus is a lot better than when i left. I can't speak for Cleveland n Cincy.

He's a republican so most of this is par for the course.
But he has had some success and people in Ohio don't "hate" him. He's done a better job than the last guy.
He actually has a succssful record to run on. Something the rest of the republican field does not have.
