Hindsight is always subjective, but you can’t just say everything didn’t change when Kawhi got injured when that is exactly what happened. But it’s whatever. I don’t do basketball arguments.
the clippers are like the '08 nuggets. they just need to swap out some of these players for a floor general and a couple mpactful roleplayers.
but they cant trade paul george. they dont want to end up like the nuggets who were offensively stagnant by playoff time in the 2nd year after getting billups & them.
but they dont need both lou williams AND reggie jackson. chit like that.

Spurs had three strong perimeter defenders in Murray (getting minutes after Parker blew out his quad), Green and Kawhi. They had Aldridge who nobody on GS could stop, Kawhi who nobody on GS could stop, Ginobili who was still ballin' and Jonathan Simmons who helped the Spurs eliminate Houston when Kawhi first went down. It would have been an uphill battle, but don't act like Curry hasn't pulled a disappearing act in the playoffs when the going gets tough.
