Kawhi has been seeing 76ers Doctors since January

As a fan I want to keep Kawhi.

From a management perspective, I’m not so sure he’s worth giving $219M if he’s going to keep getting hurt. And if Kawhi and his uncle will insist on their own rehab program with their own external doctors every time he’s dinged up for whatever reason.

I don’t like the precedent this NYC doctor situation is setting.

I mean he is worth the money we seen what he does carrying our team and if he got the right pieces we easily could be a dynasty.
Having said that too get the right pieces if he needs to take a pay cut then so be it.
I fault front office for this shytty as contracts we stuck with tho.
2nd opinion docs tho spurs need to get over their feelings with imo at same time kawhi has too keep them in the loop and support his team too.

We still don’t have a SG. Maybe the only decent option here is Tyreke Evans...IF he wants to play here and if he’s a good fit. And he’s probably priced out of our budget anyway. Hell almost anybody would be better than Green right now.

And is that enough right now? With Murray’s weak ass jumper (which needs to improve) and hardly anything on our bench?

The roster as it stands now can hold teams defensively but we need to get younger and more athletic. The team needs more than Kawhi, all due respect.

If we keep kawhi they need to do a culture shock and trade people with those bullshyt contracts instead of the loyalty thing its business with certain guys.

Even if I feel we can win a chip with this roster it would be unnecessary difficult and hard to maintain if we just get rid of certain players to be Frank when it comes to keeping kawhi and if dont keep him

In some sense we could just rebuild and trade lma and kawhi and just be young all together and play good execution b ball look at Boston great coaching and a system with young talent can work here as well

maybe it was answered in the thread but how is he allowed (or why) is he seeing other teams doctors? Isn't that illegal in the CBA or just from a how it looks perspective. That's a bad look

and one other wrinkle is that I’ve been reading that part of the reason Pop hasn’t retired is because he promised certain players he would stick around.

If the front office decides to blow up the team, does Pop want to go through a rebuild? At this age, after the stress of this season and the loss of his wife?

A total rebuild means from the top on down.
I feel like we are in No Man’s Land as a franchise.
