Rudy Gobert should honestly be DPOY, but the media isn't up on that yet.

...Yeah, I was going to say that. Duncan should be in conversation, its a crime he has never won DPOY. He's the reason they were still in playoff contention.

The Jazz have legit gone from one of the worst defenses in the league to the best, Exum gets a bit of credit there too since his length on the perimeter is really a bytch for PGs to deal with now that he's figuring out how to defend, but Rudy is basically a one man zone and combining that with Favors is just
Kawhi and Duncan are pretty much made better by the other, but the Spurs being top 5 defensively without him speaks volumes about how good the old man still is on that side of the floor.

Teams are shooting 38% at the rim when he's in the game, that is tops in the NBA, second is Bogut at 41%. Because of him they have an identity moving forward, they have the potential to be the best defensive team in the league for the next decade.
