All the big money events were headlined by the Rock, Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, and Undertaker over the last 5 years in general. And before that, they had such of a lack of trust in Cena at huge events that that they would turn to Floyd Mayweather and Donald Trump and Stone Cold guest ref spots.

People hate the character not the person

People hate the person. Just like they hate the person Roman. Because they're mad they beat their favs in scripted matches. It's bizarre and always has been. That's like saying he wouldn't be doing this if he wasn't a wrestler. He's the #1 guy in the company by a large margin and this is the kind of stuff they do.
