keeping vintage items vs throwing them away?

how many of you still have your vinyl, your Adidas, kangol hat sweat suit, or have you donated them to the salvation army.

My dad still has his old vinyl collection at my grandma's house.
I wish he would've kept some old shirts,jackets/hoodies, & hats from the 90's though
