? We are talking about by Hollywood standards btw. It is much different for a man though.But I agree,she decided to be herself and got pigeonholed basically. Being that shes darker skinned,she still would have never gotten the roles Zendaya does. But she was supposed to be like a child prodigy ,who would grow up to be one of our more serious black actresses. Regina Hall managed to overcome her goofiness and be taken seriously though. I'd say her career has turned out just as good as Angela Bassets. So Keke could overcome her perception.
