Kem dropped a live album and It’s fire!!!

Kem dropped a live album called “Anniversary” he recorded live last year on Sept. 9th & 10th at Chene Park in his hometown of Detroit (even though he was raised in Pontiac) and this CD is flames!


I was cleaning up the kitchen, getting groceries playing this and on my way out to eat and had my college shorty vibing!
It’s very similar to Erykah Badu’s Live album and had me thinking… why hasn’t he been done this?

I honestly think I love live albums.

Donnie McClurkin’s “Live In London” (Gospel) and Eryikah Badu’s “Live” (Neo-Soul) albums are must haves for me. Most gospel songs are done live but I never knew why, I guess it’s cheaper to record? Idk.

Kem always gets play at the cookouts but I think he slowed down with the music after his second album and stayed touring. His debut album came out 20 years ago and this concert was to celebrate that.

I think the Seal comparison is because they’re both black and Bald.

Kem is very slept on. He's always quiet and u don't ever hear bad news about him in the media.

Depends on where you at, Detroit kids (19-27) always playing Love Calls or something. But he is from the metro area.
