Coming up in the midst of the 90's Ken was the coolest black player in the league. He made me want to play baseball, so i had my mama sign me up. Got my glove, baseball bag, bat, batting gloves, even started eating sunflower seeds. : Had his shoes

and all i wanted to do was hit home run's, swing, stand there for three seconds after i launched the ball into the woods, and trot around the bases and get dap from the third base coach. That season, i accidentally got five hits. My coach tried to get me to watch this
but i was like What the fukk i wanna swing like Fred for, he dont even hit 40 homers a season

i was the fastest on the team, and the only way i could get on base was because i was the shortest on the team and drew the most walks

ive been a braves fan from knee high

but when you got 15 people hitting 50+ home runs in one season, this nikka and his 25hr/90rbi's couldnt compete with them. i could give a fukk less about sabermetrics back then.

in my opinion back on the braves,
greg, tommy, john, chipper, javier, david justice, deion, were all more likeable. hell i even liked brian jordn more than i did mcgriff. nikka was boring
