Criminals have absolutely nothing to do with the question he was asked.

If this was just a comment from him condemning gang violence then that would be one thing.

In this case he was responding to a question about innocent victims and he gave the actual killers a pass by talking about what black people need to do.

He was addressing Mike brown Who was a criminal...according to the media..... You dont think he saw a bit of himself or people he knew in him or that situation Or that didn't play a part.

Mike brown was not a criminal. If he thought mike brown was, then that just shows how misinformed he truly was. And beyond that the premiss of his comment was just wrong.

Unjust treatment and disrespect of black folks by the government or racist whites has absolutely nothing to do with black people's actions or wether we "respect" ourselves or not. Its just racist hate, they hate the black thug just as much as they hate the black president of the United States.

That comment is steeped in respectability politics. A black man who's informed on our history in this country would not make that comment

They didn't even try to collect any evidence against Zimmerman.

Brothas in the burbs get followed and harassed just as much. There's plenty of story's about how such n such city is predominantly white yet black people still get stopped more.

When I was riding without L's I'd go the long way around the burbs so I could stay in the city.

Now that I think about it the last time I was handcuffed and frisked was facing a wealthy home in Los Angeles.

And pretty much everytime a cop acted extra was in a upscale area
