This shyt is a-grade to smoke out to, just felt like something was missing when I heard it with a clear mind. The funny thing is that Kendrick doesn't even smoke (or drink)?
It must just be the cali spirit :ahh:

Youll nigas sleepin on that now or never track with mary j.....best vocals i heard from mary j in a while man she killed that shyt.. :noah: perfect way to close the album with an energy/good vibe track imo..This album better sell well man....real artists like kdot need to be supported :win:

Just listened to that. :wow:

She stole the show. shyt should've been Mary J. Blige Ft. Kendrick Lamar

After listening to this album straight through for the 3rd time i'd say it's about 3.75/5 and is imo, the best debut album since F&L easily, but of course it's going to be overrated severely on here, nikkas calling it a classic :whoa:.

One thing i will say is that after listening to the album as a whole i'm left feeling like :snooze:  because the album is pretty much has the same laid-back feel the whole way through and a lot of the tracks have the same tone when listening to it from front to back.

I agree with the bolded exclusively
besides Backseat Freestyle, there are no high-tempo songs, Swimming Pools & Recipe don't count, they're not really high powered

i think "cartoons and cereal" would have been great on album, it could have been a intro, or right before or after real, still one of my fav tracks from dude, and gunplay verse would fit in wit the theme of the album
