This past Thursday (Oct. 22), Power 105.1 hosted their annual Powerhouse concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Fetty Wap, still injured from his motorcycle accident, performed on a golden throne, while other stars like Meek Mill and Big Sean performed.

But towards the end of the night Future came out, and though his set was reportedly spotty, a large portion of the crowd seemed to have enough of the concert after he performed – and before the last performer of the night, Kendrick Lamar, hit the stage. Once Future was finished, a ton of people in attendance apparently left the arena without waiting to see K. Dot do his thing, leaving him to perform for a half-empty arena.

The concert started at 7 PM and by the time Future was done it was already after midnight, so considering people had work and school the next day, it’s fair to assume many left the show to beat the traffic home.

The same thing allegedly happened in Chicago yesterday (Oct. 25). Below are some tweets from people who were there.

Every big ass concert/festival this happens regardless of the artist. I worked Made in America (Stagehand/set design) and well over half the crowd left during The Weeknd's set, obviously not for lack of popularity, but everyone was just fukking beat they were there for hours, wanted to beat the traffic etc. Happens at every show with too many performers. My boy opened up for Young Chris at the TLA on South St. in Philly last year, now granted it's nowhere near the same level as these other shows, but my boy performed for probly double the amount of people Chris did, there were like 8-9 opening acts by the time Chris came out more than half the crowd was gone. Only so much blaringly loud live music people can tolerate.

What? Should he dumb down to double his dollars?

Let them bounce. You can't be pro-black and popular in this day and age.
The same kendrick that was speaking about black people need to respect ourselves before we deserve not to be killed in the street like dogs? :mjpls:

Kendrick should command headliner, but painful truth is hes not necessarily a major concert guy. Hes a 2500 seat guy easily.
