if you're more intrepid and don't mind waiting, you can sit through about fifteen minutes of the pre-recorded live stream until Prince's engineer previews a snippet of an unreleased song with Kendrick

I'll wait to see if this will materialize but Prince is on Warner Bros. and Kendrick is with Interscope under the Universal umbrella so I'm sure they'd rather him just take the experience of the sessions and run with the sound. Ultimately when these two minds come together, two artists who make a completely different style of music either something new will come of it or one will kind of enter the artistic realm of the other. I think these two are so far apart that they'll both have to make an effort to meet each other halfway or one will have to follow the other's lead. I mean if I were handling these sessions I would make sure someone spiked Kendrick's drink with acid while he watches a documentary about California in the 60s, I'd give him all the Grateful Dead albums and hope he can start thinking along those lines of thought, collaboration is like an art in itself, hip-hop artists are often deprived the experience of actually seeing MUSIC being made - Prince's vision for the music could ultimately provide a great backdrop for Kendrick. When music is being made and the vibes of two artists are in the air it makes an energy of it's own.

EDIT: The Kendrick verse just came on

When are we as music fans going to smarten up and stop getting excited over headlines about who is collaborating. These types of things never seem to materialize. Labels looking for headlines. fukk the labels!
