Kendrick always was, and always will be trash. He makes unbelievably forgettable music with zero replay value. I will never understand how or why he blew up like he did outside of the West Coast needing a new hero and people wanting to go the other way on Drake after the ghostwriting shyt. So yes, this is 100% hate, but from a pure place. Kendrick does the silly voices and nonsense that Eminem always got shyt for, but I guess it's okay cause he's black and from Compton instead of a CAC from Detroit?

While I definitely think this is true...it just wasn't a great album and ppl were disappointed. It's not terrible. I like multiple tracks on there. But it's not the comeback album. It's the "here's why I was gone" album.

He’s the first rapper to ever win and if i’m not mistaken the first non-classical/Non-Jazz artist to win
I love Damn and think it was best album of 2017 but if ANY rap album deserved to be the FIRST to win a Pulitzer they should have given it to To Pimp A Butterfly. That album is TAILER MADE for that type of honor
He dropped 3 blassics in a row but this last album he lost me. Listened to it for a week hoping it would grow on me but that shyt hasn't been played since last year. I bought the physical just to show support though .
