Kendrick says his album dropping really soon, says he & J.Cole can finally finish their Collab LP

Kendrick Lamar revealed that their long-awaited collaborative project is closer to becoming a reality.

As for he and Cole’s collaborative album, the pair set the Internets on fire when they posted pics of themselves working on music together, back in 2012. When asked when we could expect a collaborative project, he revealed his own new album is just about done.

“This is probably the situation where we obviously have albums coming out at the same time so that ideal project may be a little bit more realistic, now that we both out of the way with the albums,” revealed Kendrick. “I’m in the process of finishing up and his album is crazy so we have that space and time to actually do what we do.”

Cole's debut did 217K first week or something like that, Kendrick's debut did 240K First week

Not sure what you're talking about, beside drake, kendrick & nicki, cole was always one of the most popular rappers to debut in the last few years. Now Cole's third album is expected to do +/- 300-350K and kendrick's sophomore is expected to do 400-600K (according to HDD)

The only reason they can do it is because Cole's label signed a deal with Interscope. Other than that, they have always been successful but they were both working on multiple albums and were both touring in 2012/2013. They even toured together earlier this year.

300K is exactly what we were expecting from Cole. Its his third album so all his fans knew he was dropping lol, just like everybody think kdot is going to do way better than his previous album which went platinum
