Kendrick's replay value is a major criticism of his music

We can all admit that he "puts out" dope shyt....but his image is so manufactured and narrow that by the time you've digested some of the most dense offerings on the market, you realize that you just can't throw his shyt on all the time and expect to be satisfied. Its just either too dense, misses the mark, or sounds like everything else he does...and often times, while you might give his projects high marks...you'll rarely play them again

i play Section80 all the time, GKMC and TPAB have their share of songs that can be played at any time regardless of their position in the concept or storyline in the album. some songs only work in the context of the album tho i agree there. but there's a lot of albums like that

I bump gkmc and section 80 tracks a lot of times bro. Not on the daily but most of the time. There's only 1 project I bump on the daily and thats the nikka on the left in my avatar's 1st mixtape. But yeah I try to not overplay shyt and I'm constantly searching for new shyt to listen too.

TPAB is the only one you can make this argument about... everything else gets replays.. one album is not his whole discography idiot... next time use "I" instead of "you" because that shyt only applies to nikkas who think ASAP Rocky & Drake really be spittin harder then K.dot or Cole..

i agree that music like that isnt for all moods but i dont listen to ANYBODY all the time. i gotta be in the right zone. it been cold in my area lately so i been bumping Mobb Deep....when the weather breaks i'll listen to some Dj Quik or something.... Kendrick luckily can be played both in the winter and summer for me but i gotta be in that progressive mode to listen to him and a lot of my favorites like Nas, Common, Dead Prez, etc.
