One day, these African countries will realize that the quick money RIGHT NOW, means jack shyt long term

If China is willing to give you $30B, it's because they know they can turn the investment into something worth 2x, 3x 10x that much at a minimum.

Focus on industry...stop giving up natural resources...and stop allowing foreigners from outside Africa to set up shop and build their own shyt. Make them assimilate into Luo, Masai, Kikuyu etc., culture.

The stories that come across my feed say something different. I know there has been a myriad of issues with the project. But supposedly several thousand people are already living there.

✅ Summary

AspectDetails
Legal CasesMultiple cases in Kenyan courts (High Court, Court of Appeal) since 2016 over land, shareholder fraud, anti-corruption proceedings, defamation and media coverage. High‑profile rulings include dismissals of claims by Tatu City against media and anti-corruption bodies.
ResidentsYes—thousands already live, shop, work, and study in Tatu City. Official figures cite around 5,000 residents, 88+ companies employing 15,000+ people, and growing housing estates. Numerous businesses, events, schools operate in the area.

TLDR You are talking about some city development project mired in court cases for the last 12 years that has managed to drum up 5000 residents from a city that has 4.8 million people, to argue that Nairobi is for sale. I think you see the word city in the name of the project and assume its an actual city. It was a coffee farm sitting on 5000 acres that these developers tried to make into a mixed use development
