Why is corn syrup in everything in the US? That’s one thing noticed when I visited, I don’t get it. There’s already a ton of sugar in most of our shyt, you don’t need to add corn syrup.
Under the Nixon administration, the decision was made to make food prices cheaper, so that Americans could spend more money on consumer goods. They did this by subsidising crops like ocorn and soy. Thats why you see that shyt used all over the place, even in inedible products
