I'm sorry man you but you really didn't use sarcasm right, in no way shape or form is my post sarcastic. Seriously look up the definition and try to apply it to what i wrote, no way was I being ironic or evoking contempt for you. I haven't switched the meaning of anything you've said either.

I compared my cousin, not what he had, but his attitude, I specifically mentioned his entitlement and poor work ethic. That you read that and think there was jealousy about what he had rather than disappointment that his mother was working 2 jobs to spoil a kid who didn't appreciate, shows your lack of reading comprehension. you see words but you don't read sentences and can't gather the intent of the post from the context clues and out right statements.

Man you can't debate you literally have failed to provide a logical reply to anything i've said. You've instead relied on emotionalism and logical fallacies. then have the nerve to try to insult me as if i"m the one getting emotional.

Like i said before, you live the life you want, you raise your kids how you see fit, sorry if what I posted hit home and offended you, but i'm not changing my outlook and you haven't presented any rational explanation for why I should, you'll just have o continue to be emotional and mad about it.

:sas1:
How could what you post offend me esp regarding money. I'd love to know that mr middle class. I also didn't ask you to change your outlook hence me saying this back and forth has ran its course. That's why I said you emo cause you making up shyt to fit your narrative. I would only be mad if coming from my parents I had parents like yours that hit you with the okey doke regarding "hard work" because they couldn't really afford to cop you nice things.

Like I said man, there is nothing left to talk about.
I don't understand why you still are crying aabout something that doesn't matter to you, but hey thats you.
I'm done with it.

those sneakers are nice.

do they still sell em?

Wow,...
Gave them the shoe and said go exchange it for cash.

I still think this is the most valiant move any one player did.
that was well executed as far as affordable shoes ever.
This is the model that the balls should be looking to match.
especially given their lack of aesthetic appeal.

The 9 features perhaps more innovation than any prior KD shoe, with its new Flyknit construction, full-length best-in-class Zoom Air unit and a detailed translucent outsole. “You get a $250 shoe for like $150,” he jokes.

No, you're getting a show that costs $5.99 to make for $150:stopitslime:

How do you know is cost 5.99?

Y'all always say this but never have anything to back it up?

The manufacturing costs for sneakers is low, the R&D, sourcing of new materials and ad campaigns and things are probably pretty high. That is not to say the shoes all in all cost near what they charge, but there's more to it than the $15 it costs Nike to manufacture each pair.

I was being flippant with the $5.99 figure but it's well known that these shoe companies use cheap cheap labor to manufacture the shoes.

More importantly tho it's 2017 and people still don't know how to use the Internet for anything constructive. You could've easily researched this shyt yourself in the matter of minutes. Learn to use the net for more than just molesting yourself to porn and posting on the coli.

Bence, who has worked for Nike since 1977 in a variety of product development roles, spoke at the trial run for the University of Oregon's new Sports Product Management program, which launches next fall.

He said it costs a sneaker company about $28.50 to manufacture a pair of shoes in Asia and have it shipped to the United States. That includes $25 for labor and factory costs and $1 in shipping.

Everyone knows Nike uses cheap (borderline slave) labor.

Design, tariffs and marketing ain't costing them $60 per shoe.

Everything you buy is sold for more than what it cost to make

That cost doesn't include design cost, marketing cost and other overhead associate with selling a product

Agree with the first part.
Partially disagree with the 2nd part.

:snoop:
Nike is a billion dollar company. I don't care what the overhead costs are they clearly have huge profit margins. The point was that Durant is full of shyt acting like paying $150 for a show is a "deal".
