Bosh was getting the same kind of shyt, but his defense(particularly on the pick and roll) was much better and people finally started seeing that so they stopped shytting on him. As a whole though, Lebron just fails to make other superstars around him have freedom to play their games. Love used to be great at playing in the paint(yes he could knock down threes but that was hardly his whole game) while now that's basically's Lebron's area to do his drive and kick bullshyt and Love is left always past the arc.
That's not to say his whole play hasn't been worse as he's missed gimmies at the basket and has failed to execute even when inside, but as you said he's just a poor fit on the team overall.
