I don't know about this cat shyt, but my sister's friend's older sister dated him for a minute.
This was sometime between 1998-2000, either when he was with the A's or coaching a minor league team in the North Bay.
I heard they went water skiing one time, and he deliberately steered her into a large wave. She hit the water hard, and was bleeding when he came back for her. Supposedly he was laughing his ass off. She never saw his psycho ass again.

Yo, real talk brehs, when Kevin Mitchell used to play for the Giants, my uncles and cousins who were x dboys used to hang with him. I had autographed baseballs and all that.

If anybody knows about the location of Candlestick park in San Francisco, y'all know that the stadium in right in the middle of the hood. The stadium is right across the street from these projects called double rock/Alice Griffin homes.

Kevin Mitchell used to hang with the people of that community. He was a certified real nikka :obama:

My moms lived in those projects when she was little...before moving to EPA.

I believe Kevin Mitchell was out there with those SF d-boys. He would come home every off season and be at all the San Diego functions with them Lincoln Park real ones. I specifically remember the year he hit them 47 home runs. That off season he was at a HS football game scrappin' and carrying on LOL

:dead:

In the famous tenth inning of Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, after Wally Backman and Keith Hernandez had been retired for the first two outs, Mitchell went to the clubhouse to make plane reservations for home in San Diego. However, he was called to pinch hit for reliever Rick Aguilera after Gary Carter, the next hitter after Hernandez, singled. Mitchell, who had already gotten out of his uniform and had on his regular clothes, hurriedly put his uniform back on without his protective cup and went to the plate and singled.[3] He would eventually score the tying run on Bob Stanley's wild pitch to Mookie Wilson.

In a July 2007 radio interview with local sports talk radio station KNBR, Mitchell disputed that he was out of uniform at the time, and stated that he never wore a cup, even when playing infield. When asked why he never wore a cup, Mitchell responded, "I couldn’t find one big enough for my junk." The interviewer then commented that maybe the increased mobility helped Mitchell to make the famous 1989 barehanded catch of Ozzie Smith's fly ball.[4]
