I didn't want to say it, but since you unintentionally brought it up, then I might as well.

the wwf had more crowd-friendlier entrance music. particularly the intros to the theme songs. they generally incited bigger pops during the entrances.

also, wcw & wwf crowds reacted differently towards certain things.

I take that back..I know about the 1999 Toronto Raw where Corporate Rock definitely MEANT MORE than Vince McMahon in that 40k crowd. No not that..the one in 2000 before WM. It was definitely 40,000 and Rock had that green 500 dollar shirt on with the whole McMahon/Helmsley crew in the ring.....the SLUT chants were off the pages and the pop for the Rock was fukking absurd.
