It's unrealistic to think anybody can get in office and "clean house". The president can't pass anything he wants, congress has to vote on that shyt. let's not forget all the special interests, i.e. billion dollar companies that hand cash to their buddies in congress to keep things a certain way to fatten both of their wallets. The president has limited power, so we can't expect much to change no matter who is in office.
He did kill Osama...something Bush started a false war over and couldn't get done his entire time in office. Nobody wants to give Obama props for that though. Hell fukkin Fox news said "a shoe could have killed him", to try and take away from Obama. You know damn well if Bush had gotten him killed, there would be parades in the street, but since the n***** did it, it's like "meh". So perhaps you need to alter your expectations, because Obama has to fight shyt from all sides, even some black people (looking at you).
i actually didn't know kevm3 felt this way about Obama. that's a wrong stance kev. that's very wrong. but anyway, i cosign this thread. kevm3 is definitely one of the main dudes whose post I actually take the time to read word for word.
now, as far as obama is concerned. man, i dont care about most things people care about when they vote. all i care about is sanity. a president who knows that yes, while i am the most powerful man in the whole world, that doesn't mean i'm going to go around bullying people. u look at a retard like romney, u know if given the chance, he will obliterate any nation that irritates him. u cant have that in a president. u cant have a president who isn't level headed. bush wasn't levelheaded, neither is most people in the republican party.
so when u folks vote, u should be voting for that person who understands the purpose of war, but isn't going to start wars just for the hell of it. some of u may say, hey, it is what it is. but, listen, the more wars we fight, the less likely there will be people signing up voluntarily to join the military. when the number of the military dwindles, u are fuccked..because the draft will be re-instated. and i'm telling u right now, i aint fighting for sh1t. ur sons and daugthers and nephews will be the ones doing all that sh1t.
