being good was never the reason these fast food chains are up. objectively KFC didn't have enough competition in the chicken lane before. Mcdonalds is also easily one of the worst fast food restaurants but their marketing is the best. Brand loyalty was sown in us since we were young. as generations change so do opinions. they are not held to tradition by nostalgia. KFC is getting killed by almost all the other Chicken spots on a quality basis. They never had the marketing to keep their spot like Mcdonalds despite their lacking quality.

the bigger issue is with the inflation crisis a lot of fast food spots have lost their lane entirely. they are now in the same space as legit restaurants for price point with lesser value. shyt is retarded friends

Taco bell is about the same as it's ever been to me.
KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut all owned by the same corporation, and have overall gone downhill over the years.
Some probably has to do with the workers dedication to preparing food.

We use to hit one spot up that had "buffets" ... we would go in there higher than the stratosphere and they would cut us off.
