What point Good Music is? Different for everyone, but making sure the artist is situated with a label (who handles these type of things) is one thing. But mostly it's the musical side of things. Good Music signed to Def Jam, but Cudi is still signed to Universal Republic or Motown. So he's got a different situation from what for example Big Sean has. You might wanna google the shyt you talk about or ask someone before you make judgements or statements about it.
Just What I Am peaked at #74 on the charts ft an unknown rapper.
Ross's biggest hit of his latest album which featured 1 gold rapper and Drake peaked at #71 .
So if the charts tells us anything, Ross need to talk to his people as well.

Its strange, you would expect Kid Cudi to be doing a bit better. Even the video for Just What I Am was cheaply done.
Even though this is a Universal/Motown issue, Kanye seems to have taken a bit of a "Dr Dre with Aftermath" approach to GOOD Music. He has a stable of talented artists who arent dropping anything aside from JohnLegend

this depressed dumbfukk is the reason for his own issues with the label...he spent more time dancing in the Mercy Video, than putting out any music for hip hop fans.

Do we forget that his last album went gold and that his last single floated around on the charts floated around on the billboards without radio play, then his latest promo single King Wizard is in the top 100 as well climbing slowly. Again with no radio play.
So obviously there is a demand for his shyt.
And "dancing in the Mercy video", he put out an experimental album last year, so he's definitely working.

i'm saying, just cause you have a loyal fanbase doesn't mean your music should be getting airplay like that.
he doesn't exactly make music for the radio to begin with...so why is he complaining about why his video views dont match his airplay?
All Gold Everything is a monster club/street song... Cudi has never made a song like that ever...BMF didn't fare that well on the charts, but that shyt was everywhere too.
he's crying cause his videos have X amount of plays on youtube, like that is a legitimate way of gauging what should be on the radio.
Mac Millers "Donald Trump" video has 74 Million views, and that got little radio play.
that's what i don't get about some of these rappers, it's like they're real world stupid and only know how to make music.

hell yeah there's a demand for cudi out here (nh). i already said that nikka is the best thing kanye has on his good music label. he needs to get off his label and sign with def jam. they're fukking up. cudi knows how to make great music. total waste of talent if his label ain't pushing him.
