Day n Nite (Crookers Remix) was very big in the UK.
#2 in the charts and was always in the clubs.
You sign to Kanye for an epic co-sign and artistic support (and them ghostwriting cheques). I don't think Kanye's involved in the financial side super heavy. That has its pro's and con's. Nobody has ever accused Kanye of stiffing their money/royalties.
Cudi's not even signed to GOOD Music fo'real fo'real. It's only recently become a real label with a distribution home. Rocafella in its pomp was almost a separate record label from Def Jam and the artists didn't consider themselves Def Jam artists. If you're on GOOD you're definitely reliant on Def Jam because Kanye isn't doing your promotion/budget.
