The Kinect is irrelevant.
Kinect is an undisputable failure but at least Microsoft has finally realized it and moved on. Too bad they wasted the last years of 360 on pushing that garbage.

Compare a failed accessory on the PS3, to one that made a next-gen console $100 more expensive than its competition at launch brehs...
At launch? It makes the console $100 more expensive now. Thing is I can still use the Kinect for the voice commands and universal remote functionality. The PS Move is completely worthless. All of it was shameless Nintendo jacking.
I don't get how nobody at that company didn't understand that they had a cool piece of tech that had next to no gaming applications and was far too expensive to ever reach the target audience that would appreciate it.
Kinect should have been its own platform separate from the Xbox 360 / One. Casuals aren't interested in spending $300 on a console so they can spend $100 on a camera for it. Cores aren't interested in the Kinect at all. It was always about as fukked as say the PSVita. A cool concept with no real audience.
