My son is trying to flip an empty water bottle so it lands right side up.

He tells me to close my eyes, (I’m peaking), so he flips the bottle and guides it in a way to make it artificially land right side up.

He says daddy open your eye…”daddy see I did it” then he says “I can get some candy now right?!” I tell him now I want to see you do it with my eyes open. It’s been silence for the past 10 minutes.

I know he got the smiley going on in his head thinking of how he gon pull it off.

i'll never forget my friends 3 year old daughter at the time who threw her diapers down the front stairs to hide that she didn't go potty. like no one would discover it when they entered the house and she wouldn't be suspect number #1

My 3 year old son will lie on his mom when she's in the room on some "mommy said I could have ..."

Not quite related, but messing with my son is usually the highlight of my day.
If he's doing something I throw a blanket over his head. If he's watching TV, I change the channel or turn it off. If he's eating a sandwich, I take a bite and put it on his plate before he notices.
